Best Practices

At Catholic Health, our safe, compassionate and respectful focus is on you and your baby. You and your baby receive care at the same place, on the same floor, and many times in the same room. And with Level II and III NICUs available at Sisters and Mercy, you won’t have to move facilities in the event of an emergency.

Experienced Staff

Catholic Health physicians, nurses and associates are specially trained to care for you and your baby. In addition, we have an OBGYN and/or Midwife available 24/7, employ 40 certified lactation specialists and all of our clinicians are Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certified. Our board certified neonatologists and certified neonatal nurse practitioners provide advanced care for babies in our NICU as young as 23 weeks gestation.
